SIG-NATURE: Photography by Richard Seah @ richardseah.com

Ayer's Rock, in the heart of Australia, is truly a sight to behold.

To tell you that it is 350m high, 10km to drive around, is quite meaningless. You need to experience its massiveness.

I spent at least 5 rolls of film trying to capture its beauty and maginficence, without much success.

This close-up of a crack on the rock is my best shot of Ayer's.

For an idea of its size, there is a bare tree at the bottom right hand corner, unfortunately not very visible on this scan.

I can still remember the breath-stopping feeling I had when I saw this through my lens and went, "Wow!"
